Robert Brij
Robert has been at the forefront of finance and international business development for more than two decades. After completing his MBA at Monash Business School, Robert has taken on a wide gamut of real estate projects, from clearing and developing contaminated sites to the successful rejuvenation and redevelopment of heritage-listed properties. He believes in ensuring stakeholders and shareholders are delivered greater value than what is expected.
For more than 25 years, Robert has been developing, building and investing in quality, world-class projects across Australia, and more recently, throughout the broader Asia-Pacific region. He has an outstanding track record for developing premium properties and outstanding investment opportunities. Roberts experience and expertise in the finance and property industry has allowed him to understand what clients are looking for from financial institutions, whilst delivering them promptly and efficiently.

An experienced executive with 30 years banking experience with major banking institutions including Westpac Banking Corporation, Bank of Western Australia, Bank of Scotland International, Bank of Cyprus and Delphi Bank (a division of Bendigo & Adelaide Bank).
Senior positions held include Senior Relationship Manager, Associate Director Corporate Property Finance, Head of Credit and Asset Management & Recoveries.
Transaction types include trading businesses such as accountancy and legal firms, hotels / motels, childcare, pharmacy with specific focus on property lending, including land banks, turnkey, residential house and land, multi-level residential and commercial construction and investment up to $250m (single transaction) and in Banking Syndicates participation.

A highly professional banking executive (47 years) with a range of experience gained through numerous key roles with ANZ Banking Group, Bank of Scotland International, Bank of Cyprus Australia, and Delphi Bank (a division of Bendigo & Adelaide Bank).
Roles included both Relationship and Credit with the latter being at an executive level. Market segments ranged from large multinational corporates to mid-commercial corporates and SME market.
Property lending (construction & development and investment) has been a feature, with deals ranging from $5m – $160m (single transaction) and in banking syndicates participation.

A career Banker with over 40 years’ experience, gained at the ANZ & Bankwest / CBA in areas including Corporate Banking, Credit Management, Property Finance, Property Development, Corporate & Leveraged lending and Risk Management Credit Compliance Management.
Previous roles include State Head of Business Credit for Vic, SA, TAS and NT. Delegated sole lending authority of $110m and National Manager Credit Quality Review for Retail and Business Banking [review of policy, procedural and regulatory compliance].
